He graduated Purdue University in 1912 holding the degree of Bachelor in science and Bachelor in electrical engineering.

In 1915, he moved to Seattle, Washington to work at Puget Sound Traction, Light and Power Company. He first was a clerk and in 1917, he became an electrical engineer. At the same time, he lived at 6-419 Queen Anne Ave in 1915. Then he moved to 907 Boren Ave at 1916. And in 1917, he lived at 205-1021 Pine.

This is his brother Albert Vincent WIlson’s registration card who also went to fight in France during WWI.

This registration card, shows that Richard was born on the 24th of September, 1890 in Cincinnati Ohio. He was the 2nd lieutenant and the 7th engineer unit.

The passenger lists shows that on March 16th, 1918, Richard took a Ship called Orduna to France to join the war. We can Also see that he had put down his mom name to notify in case of emergency.

The photo and the registration card explains when Richard died. He died October 14th, 1918 during the war, in the battle of Meuse-Argonne. His mother, Julia B. Wilson WAS the one notified of his death. It also says he was buried at the Montfaucon cemetery which is the Meuse-Argonne cemetery.

A newspaper, called Daily Capital, was published November 28, 1918 to announce american soldier’s death. It is a report from General Pershing’s, who was his general. It also says he died of wounds and that he was a 1st lieutenant.

This is the page he has on the ABMC memorial site. It says he was the 1st lieutenant of the 7 engineer of the 5th division. It shows joined the army from Washington. It also says he is now buried in the Suresnes american cemetery.
This documents is the passport or Richard’s mom, Julia Bradbury Wilson. It states that her husband, Joseph Howard Wilson and Richard’s dad, died in 1906, when Richard was only 16 years old. This passports states that in 1921 when Julia was 56 years old, she went on a trip to Britain, Italy and France, for what she calls a purpose of family matter and travel.

The Washington State Library says that Albert Vincent died in 1982 and is now buried in Glendale, California, where he lived after fighting in WWI and WWII.
